Organizational Structure

The Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies is governed by the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. The decisions of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee are implemented by the Director General, who oversees and coordinates HAIC’s operations.

Board of Directors

Its 19 members, which are elected by the General Assembly, serve a 2-year term. The Board of Directors formulates the strategy of HAIC, forms Committees and appoints their chairperson. The Chairman of the BoD is Mr. Alexandros Sarrigeorgiou.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is responsible for deciding on the current matters of the Association and for preparing the issues for the Board of Directors.

The Executive Committee consists of: The Chairman, Sarrigeorgiou Alexandros, the Vice Chairman, Mazarakis Dimitrios, the Secretary General, Dimitriou Panagiotis, the Treasurer, Zorbas Dimitrios, and Members, Christidis Vasileios, Kantoros Ioannis, Makropoulos Nikolaos, Michali Philippa, Moatsos Errikos.

Director General

The decisions of the Board of Directors are implemented by the Director General. Director General of HAIC is Ms. Elina Papaspyropoulou.

HAIC Committees

The committees are formed with the participation of executives from the member companies as representatives. Their work is to process, study and propose specific issues that fall under their scope.
